Mildred and Elizabeth are favourites, as you know. And this was when I met them and was so instantly charmed. Now sitting here smiling that they are still part of my life. <3

We agreed to have Mildred meet my Harry the next day.

BONUS: Harry and Mildred together

After a week of -40 temperatures  (same in celsius & farenheit!), I caught a virus and spent most of my Saturday in a bit of agony (I love drama). I woke up feeling better and took the pup for a much needed walk at the off-leash park. Between sunshine, moderate temperatures, his enthusiasm and the support of a select few, I somehow felt hope make its way back into my heart. So I drew one in the snow.

So when I used to throw parties, I liked doing the promotion work too. Gotta put that design degree to use! Plus, I like having control over things.

So I set out to make a stencil-based poster for a Pride Week party.

Messy first attempts in my backyard “studio”.

Better.

The plan was to handwrite with silver marker on top of the solid colour and have something colourful produced cheaply. See I printed the posters in black and white to save costs and then added spray paint after.

Tools and my mom’s deck. Luckily I have a pretty cool mami who let me stain her yard a teeny bit.
