She always said it was important to support our people. I thought Salma was pretty.<\/p>\n<p>I get it now; representation is important. Like Junot Diaz <a href=\"http:\/\/www.goodreads.com\/quotes\/708681-you-guys-know-about-vampires-you-know-vampires-have\" target=\"_blank\">says,<\/a> to not be reflected in the world will make you feel like a monster. That idea, and the anti-immigration policies\u00a0from our government in the past 10 years, led me to draw six\u00a0Blue Jays this weekend. Yes, the baseball team.<\/p>\n<p>It seems like we only like immigrants when they are winning our games, not when they come here\u00a0trying to survive our wars.<\/p>\n<p>This is a bit of an &#8216;I SEE U&#8217; to my Latinxs on the active Blue Jays&#8217; roster.
